Didn't plan to make any bento but I feel like I have to make at least one thanksgiving bento for this year!
I have so many things in life to be thankful for, a great husband, wonderful kids!! my parents and family back in Indonesia, I miss them so much all the time. I am so blessed to be surrounds by many great people, family and friends.I love you all!!!
Tomorrow will be early release until Tuesday and then there's no school until Monday after Thanksgiving. So I prepared some snack bento. It's only honey sandwich with a turkey on top made out of sweet peppers. I only have one red heart food pics so the other one using red bell pepper for the wobble :P

(#195) Chicken meatball soup
It's time to pack the boys some hot soup to warm their day.
I got thermal lunch box last weekend and curious to see how good it is. I was so tempted to get 2 sets, one for each boy, but I thought it's better to try and see how it is then decided whether or not I should get another set. And besides there are 2 thermal boxes in one set, I can just pack whatever warm food and each get one, all I have to do is just pack it in a regular lunch bag along with another food.
Anyway I made a very simple chicken meatballs soup and add in some carrots and chopped celery.
On the other box I packed some mini perkedel (Indonesian pan fried potato dough), purple sweet potatoes and pea pods. Fruit and snack are pack separately (not pictured)

See you all next week, I wont make any bento for Thursday till Monday since it will be early release.

(#193) Turkey Sandwich
Very simple bento for tomorrow ^__^
I prepared some turkey rolls for big son and honey sandwich for B. I am too lazy to cook on Sunday :P
I made the rolls with some thin Italian bread and I did not do good job in rolling it tightly so I use wax paper to hold it together, I hope it would be easier for big son to eat it.
Other than that there are some baby yellow carrots, sugar snaps, and mini sweet pepper.
On the next tier are some fresh grapes and apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon.
Pretty much the same with the bento for big son, except the sandwich are honey sandwich and there's no yellow carrots in it.
Sorry for such a short post, I hope to get more inspirations for this coming week ... I really need to make as much bento as I can before the boys start their winter break.
