(# 260) Fried rice with meatballs bunny bento

Up for tomorrow's bento I prepared some fried rice with Indonesian meatballs (home-made), this is actually leftovers from dinner's tonight :)

I topped the rice with bunny carrot, using nori for facial details.
Next to the rice I arranged some English cucumbers, steamed romanesco and Granny smith apples slices with some pomegranate seeds.

I also packed some plain yogurt with honey on the bottom and pomegranate on top, for snack time :)
Enjoy!

(# 251) Fried noodle with grilled chicken - bear bento

This is the only bento I have for this week, and I only made one picture too :P been so lazy lately ;-)

This simple bento contains some fried noodle, grilled chicken and mini Roma tomatoes. I topped the chicken with a provolone cheese bear, facial details for bear is made of nori.

There are also some satsuma orange in a separated silicone bowl.

For snack time I packed some plain Greek yogurt in a little glass, to make it more flavorful and fun I layered some granola on the bottom, yogurt, some maple syrup and topped it with strawberry slices. Yummm!!

Happy weekend everybody ^__^

(#215) Chicken Dumpling Bento

This is actually from couple weeks ago, I didn't realize it I haven't posted here ^__^

Inside the box are some chicken dumplings with spinach wrappers (love it!!), steamed broccoli and mini sweet bell peppers. I bought 1 big bag of those mini peppers when I do my weekly grocery, and didn't realized that I had another bag sitting in my other refrigerator 0_0 so I ended up with 2 big bags of mini peppers, thanks GOD the boys love it!! (still a lot though!)
I also packed some Korean style roasted sea weeds and some blue berry yogurt for snack time.
Fruit are packed separately (not pictured)

Have a great weekend everybody ^__^

Home-made yogurt

I could not believe January is almost over, and I haven’t post anything at all this year. I do make bento everyday but I did not take any pictures. Because it’s just regular bento which most of them are almost similar to the one I’ve made and posted in the past.

And today I finally have some time to update my blog. I actually made this home-made yogurt sometime ago. I was so excited and pleased with the result. The yogurt is so thick, creamy and so smooth. I am so glad to ever get this yogurt maker. I can choose the best ingredients to make healthy snacks for the boys and saving some money at the same time. How cool is that ^.^
