Wrapping up this week's bento I prepared brown bear made from regular jasmine rice, I used bear mold then I sprinkled some Indonesian roasted coconut (serundeng) that I brought from Indonesia during the visit. The boys love it!!
I stuffed the box with steamed broccoli and sweet corn.
On the next tier are some teriyaki chicken and sliced apples dusted with cinnamon.

(# 229) Tricolor fusili pasta bento
For tomorrow's bento I prepared leftovers pasta dinner, I must say I spent forever trying to cut the cheese ..LOL ...
I used the dragon cutter but there are some tears here and there especially on the feet parts, so for the 2nd bento I used the butterfly cutter, turned out the same... took me forever to release the cheese, next time I'll stick with carrot :P so much easier :-), anyway here are the pictures :
I packed some orange on the next tier along with fresh plum and black berries from the back yard.

(# 228) Beef Bulgogi Gimbab Bento
What's up with me and Korean food lately? almost all of the new bento posts are contains Korean food.
We loooovee Korean food :) it's simple, easy to prepare yet so scrumptious according to my kids :P and I don't blame them ....
For tomorrow's lunch I prepared some beef bulgogi gimbab/kimbap with ebi furay, I made some ebi furay from scratch and I must say I am so happy with the result, hubby said he can just eat the whole plate ...
The ebi furay I made *however* is not the kind that using panko bread, but regular tempura batter, so maybe I should mention shrimp tempura instead? well, I can careless about the name this time :P
On the next tier I packed some fresh pineapple along with some sweet mini peppers.
Have a pleasant evening :)

(# 227) Beef bulgogi and rice
Another simple bento from yesterday's lunch :
That was actually leftovers from late lunch the other day, we went out to Korean fast food in Lynnwood, we ordered too much, I forgot the portion here is always HUGE ... after spent holiday for 2.5 months in Indonesia :P where the portion are much smaller compared to here.
First tier contains white rice sprinkled with furikake, beef bulgogi, and some cukes. I also put some takuwan to make it more colorful.
There are some fresh black berries from our backyard in the second tier, some kiwis and red cherries.
