(#147) Mini beef and vegetable croquette

There's no school today, but D is invited to join with his friend to go skiing up at Mt. Baker, so I packed him some beef and vegetable croquettes. I made the croquettes sometimes ago and freeze it up, so all I have to do just to fry some and lunch is ready!

I also pack some grape tomatoes, mandarin orange, nectarine and strawberries. There also some maple flavored granola for snack.

(#146) Chicken fried rice

Didn't realize until after I took the pictures that this bento looks a little too girlie for my boys ...
But they did not complain at all ... LOL ...
When I made it I was thinking and hoping to have sunny day, y'all now the pacific north west weather during this time of the year, mostly rain, cloudy, dark, cold, windy, gloomy etc .... we only got very little sunny days. So daisy or sun flower with smiley face would bright my boy's days.

Inside the box : simple chicken fried rice
On the next tier : apple wedges, steamed broccoli, and fresh mango.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

(#145) Chicken Nuggets

Another plain and simple bento.
I didn't plan to put that kind of facial detail, but the boys were insisted to do so. I think it's way too small for that size of onigiri .... but hey! as long as the boys happy :P

Inside the boz : plain onigiri, beef teriyaki topped with flowered carrot, chicken nuggets, steamed broccoli, and cherry tomato.
I also packed them banana and some Indonesian crackers for snack time.

(#144) Stir fried rice noodle

January is almost over and I've been neglecting my blog for a long while, too many reasons to mention :D but mostly is the laziness after winter break :D:D
I am also sorry for lack of visiting and commenting to any latest posts of all my bento pals. Hope I can do that soon!
And I guess it's already way too late to wish you all Happy New Year, but lets all hope for a prosperous 2011.

I have one simple bento here :

Stir fried rice noodle with carrots, Indonesian style meat balls (bakso), sliced of cucumbers.
On the next tier I packed grape tomato, dried plums, slices of oranges and fresh apple wedges.
